I think this song is a wonderful song. Not cos i'm feeling like some depressed dejected blob now and that I can identify with the feelings.. but rather how sun yanzi brings out the whole angsty feeling in this laidback jazzy piece. Sounds like a paradox in itself. The accompaniment sorta paints the scenery of walking down some lonely, fallen leaves filled french road. The words run over quite fast and that usually gives a feeling of someone so stressed and troubled yet it matches perfectly with the freestyle jazzy accompaniment. And then the melody.. I think she's such a pro to manipulate her voice so well. she switches her voice from normal tone to the false high tone at the tails of notes without losing the power. Usually when people switch to false tones, the power of the voice dips, and gives the song a lack of uniformity in terms of timbre. However, in this song, the false tone bits and the switches helps to bring out the 不知所措 feeling without sounding too busy for a relatively relaxed accompaniment. And the lyrics are nice without being too chim. Some pro some pro. The song writer's a pro, the composer and arranger both pros, and the singer's some pro. wonderful piece.
